Department of
Anesthesiology:
This department deals with anesthesia, both general and regional. Its
intensive care wing deals with management of critically ill patient,
medical and surgical particularly those requiring cardio respiratory and
other vital support. Department also support undergraduate and post
graduate training and academic teaching. Main department is hosed at 1st
floor of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital with OTs being at ground to
2nd floor.

MBBS and DA courses
are running; full 2 year traing of BCPS and BSMMU is recognised
MBBS-10
theretical and 2o practical demonstration lecture and short
training on CPR
DA-30 lecture. 30 demonstration training on ALS, BLS and mock written
and oral and OSCE, OSPE examination

10 OT wth 20
surgery simultineoously can run during office hour, while 4 surgery can
run during emergency hour.
Out patient anaesthesia is given in radiotherapy and psychiatry. Various
surgical specialties are supported-surgery, OBGyn.eye, ENTD, Neuro, Uro,
paediatric, Ortho Surgery; ICU gives ventilltory and other suppotive
management
