General Information:

Admission of MBBS courses is conducted centrally by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) under direct supervision of Director Medical Education.

Post Graduate Courses

At present there are 27 Post Graduate Courses in different disciplines. The postgraduate medical education program was introduced in 2000, with diploma in Child Health (DCH). In 2002, a total of 27 post graduate courses were added in various Clinical, Para-clinical and Basic subjects. Among the 27 Post graduate (PG) courses MD in 7 disciplines, MS in 4 disciplines, Mphil in 5 disciplines, MPH in 1 discipline and diploma in 10 disciplines.  

These courses were previously conducted by Postgraduate Faculty of Medicine, Dhaka University. From this year courses will be conducted by BSMMU. The selection of students will be done by BSMMU.
